A chiller is what turns a tub of water into a proper cold plunge. It cools the water and holds it there, so you stop buying bags of ice. All three units here run a closed loop through your ice bath. They connect with standard 1/2" fittings, the common size on quality tubs.

The job is to match the chiller to your water volume. Too small and it struggles to pull a big tub down. Bigger units cool faster and add heating for contrast work. Below is how to read the numbers.

Matching power to tub size

Horsepower drives how much water a unit can cool and how fast. The Core 0.5HP suits 200 to 300 litres, which covers most inflatable and compact tubs. The Pro 0.8HP handles larger daily-use tubs and heats as well as cools. The Elite 1.0HP is the fastest and takes the biggest baths, wooden or steel included.

Remember a stated tub size is not the water you fill. Your body displaces water, and no one fills to the brim. So a 0.5HP chiller often copes with a tub sold as "400L".

Cool only, or heat as well?

The Core cools only. That is all you need for a straight cold routine. The Pro and Elite also heat up to 42°C. That opens up warm recovery and hot-cold contrast in the same tub. Both run from a WiFi app on iOS and Android, so you set the temperature before you get up.

Cool-down times shift with the starting temperature, the room, insulation and whether the tub is covered. Pair a chiller with any of our ice baths and keep the water clear with the matching filter cartridges. Each chiller ships with the filter it needs to start.

Common questions

Which chiller do I need for my tub?

Match the horsepower to your water volume. The Core 0.5HP handles 200 to 300 litres, which covers most inflatable tubs. Go up to the Pro 0.8HP for daily or shared use, or the Elite 1.0HP for the largest wooden and steel baths. Check the litres you fill, not the tub's stated size.

How cold do the chillers go?

All three cool water down to 3°C. That is well below the 8 to 12°C most people use for a plunge. The Pro and Elite also heat up to 42°C for recovery. You set your target on the panel or the app and the unit holds it.

How long does a chiller take to cool the water?

The Pro drops a 200-litre tub from 23°C to 5°C in about 2.7 hours. A 400-litre tub takes roughly 5.8 hours. Times vary with room temperature, insulation and a cover. Once at temperature, the chiller holds it, so most people set it and leave it.

Do the chillers fit any ice bath?

They fit any tub with standard 1/2" connections. That is the common fitting on quality ice baths, including our full range. Each unit comes with hoses and quick connectors. The Elite adds adapters for both internal and external threads.

Every chiller comes with free UK delivery and a 30-day returns window. Buy with confidence and send it back if it is not the right fit.
